Hello everybody, hope you are having an amazing week! Well, how was your weekend? Mine was awesome and so fun because me and my family decided to go on a trip to Cherokee, NC and Gatlinburg, TN and go to see the amazing Great Smoky Mountains National Park. So basically in this post I will share with you our trip and the places we visited, also I will leave you some links that will be so helpful to plan your trip to save money and much more…
- Cherokee Downtown– First of all we decided to walk through Cherokee Downtown and buy some souvenirs. They have amazing cute stores and cute spots to take pictures.

Cherokee is a town on the reservation home of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, in western North Carolina. At Oconaluftee Indian Village, the 18th-century Cherokee lifestyle is preserved via live demonstrations. In summer at the outdoor Mountainside Theatre, the drama “Unto These Hills” tells the tribal story. The nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park features campgrounds and Appalachian hiking trails.
We met amazing people, they are so kind. Definitely will go back again soon…

2. Accommodation in Cherokee. So we wanted to stay in a on budget hotel but it has to have good service and good cleanliness. So we booked and decided to stay in Super 8 By Wyndham Cherokee. It was a good choice because we personally like silence and be relax so this was the place that suit for us. The rooms are so big and comfortable, super recommend it, is a 10 out of 10 from me.

There’s a lot of other options to find accommodation in Cherokee, here are some others that you can book:
Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort (4.1/5)
Great Smokies Inn Cherokee (4.3/5)
Bay Mountain Inn (4.4/5)
Cherokee Lodge (4.0/5)
Hampton Inn Cherokee (4.3/5)

3. Eating and Taking Pictures– So we decided to go around and try their food, It’s really good and also has good prices. One place that I personally recommend to have breakfast in Cherokee is: Peter’s Pancakes & Waffles, (10/10). After eating and all of that we decided to go around and take pictures of the downtown and its cuteness. I love bears so staying there it was like so lovely, I don’t have words to explain it, you have to go…

4. Go to Great Smoky Mountains National Park– I don’t have words to explain how beautiful it is. The mountains, the animals, the nature, the peace, It feels like being in another planet. Great Smoky Mountains National Park straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee. The sprawling landscape encompasses lush forests and an abundance of wildflowers that bloom year-round. Streams, rivers and waterfalls appear along hiking routes that include a segment of the Appalachian Trail. An observation tower tops Clingmans Dome, the highest peak, offering scenic views of the mist-covered mountains.

So we decided to book Great Smoky Mountains National Park Self- Driving Tour. Is a good tool to use to know more about the National Park, recommend it.
