Honestly, in the past I did not enjoy the summer, for me personally it is too hot and it consumes all my energy. But lately I love to see the colors of summer, that’s why I want to share this beach travel guide with you? Not sure what this is yet lol…
Hapuna Beach State Park, Hawaii
Hāpuna Beach State Recreation Area is a large park and sandy beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is also located adjacent to the beach. Hāpuna is popular with residents and visitors. This is one of a few other white sand beaches on the west coast of the Big Island. Hāpuna Beach is located north of Kailua Kona close to mile marker 70 of Hwy 19 in the south Kohala district. Turn Ma Kai (towards the ocean) at the sign for Hāpuna Beach State Park and continue for 1/4 mile to the large parking lot.
Ocracoke Lifeguard Beach, North Carolina
Ranked the second-best beach in America by Dr. Beach in 2020, Ocracoke Lifeguard Beach is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and operated by the National Park Service. Even in peak season, there’s plenty of room. Plus, there are lifeguards on duty during the day, ample parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, water fountains, a wheelchair-friendly beach access ramp, and a boardwalk to the beach.
Caladesi Island State Park, Florida
Caladesi Island State Park is a Florida State Park located on Caladesi Island in the Gulf of Mexico, across St. Joseph Sound to the west of Dunedin, Florida, and north of Clearwater Beach. Located off Florida’s Gulf Coast, west of the town of Dunedin and near the city of Clearwater, Caladesi Island State Park is famed for their unspoiled beach, named America’s Best by Dr. Beach in 2008. It’s accessible by a 20-minute ferry ride from Honeymoon Island.
Old Lighthouse Beach, North Carolina
Park in Dare County, North Carolina. Avid Outer Banks Surfers and sightseers alike are familiar with Old Lighthouse Beach, a stretch of sand in the heart of Buxton that was once the sight of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Convenient and renowned for its good shelling and great waves, during a typical Hatteras Island summer’s day, it’s not unusual to see dozens of visitors with boards and board shorts scoping out the scenery.
Cooper’s Beach, New York
Coopers Beach in Southampton is often rated among the Top Ten Beaches in America according to Dr. Beach, and is consistently named on the listing of America’s Top Ten Beaches. Visitors can enjoy the white sandy shores with the backdrop of nature and historic mansions. At Coopers Beach you can surf and launch a power boat within designated areas. The beach is protected by a life guard. Prohibited activities include camping activities, tents, the drinking of alcoholic beverages, animals… A list of rules for accessing Coopers Beach is posted prominently throughout the beach.
