Hello everyone! How’s your week going so far? I know that most of us are excited for the future trips for this year. But sometimes it’s hard to choose a destination because there’s so many places to visit, discover, and explore in this beautiful world. That’s why in this post I’m going to share a travel destinations guide for the month of March, 2023. Like always, if you have been here for a long time now you might have realized that at the beginning of each month I share with you all a travel guide that will help you to choose your next travel adventure based on research.
Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona was the capital city of Spain from 1937 to 1939. Today, it remains the capital of the region of Catalonia. Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. But what is Barcelona famous for? Barcelona is famous for its outstanding football team, stunning architecture, sandy beaches, and world-class cuisine. Not to mention a vibrant cultural heritage and colourful neighbourhood that attract visitors from around the world. The largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona is visited by millions upon millions of tourists every year. The reason for that is simple. The city appears to have easy accessibility, pleasant weather, tasty local cuisine, attractive beaches and mountains, and remarkable cultural heritage.
Cinque Terre, Italy
Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. In each of the 5 towns, colorful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces, harbors are filled with fishing boats and trattorias turn out seafood specialties along with the Liguria region’s famous sauce, pesto. The Sentiero Azzurro cliffside hiking trail links the villages and offers sweeping sea vistas. Why is the Cinque Terre so famous? The Cinque Terre are famous for their amazing natural landscape and colourful fishing villages perched on dramatic cliffs. UNESCO added the Cinque Terre to its list of World Heritage Sites because of their cultural landscape of great scenic and cultural value.
Vancouver, Canada
Vancouver, a bustling west coast seaport in British Columbia, is among Canada’s densest, most ethnically diverse cities. A popular filming location, it’s surrounded by mountains, and also has thriving art, theatre and music scenes. Vancouver Art Gallery is known for its works by regional artists, while the Museum of Anthropology houses preeminent First Nations collections. What is Vancouver Canada known for? With its scenic views, mild climate, and friendly people, Vancouver is known around the world as both a popular tourist attraction and one of the best places to live. While it is ranked as the 10th cleanest city in the world. Vancouver has the 4th largest cruise ship terminal in the world. Home to Canada’s longest pool. Measuring 137.5 meters (451 feet), it is nearly the size of three Olympic pools.
Moab, Utah, USA
Moab is a city in eastern Utah. It’s a gateway to massive red rock formations in Arches National Park. Southwest, Canyonlands National Park features mesas and buttes carved by the Green and Colorado rivers, plus Native American rock art. Dinosaur tracks can be found at sites like Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge. In the city, collections at the Museum of Moab include dinosaur bones and archaeological artifacts. What is so special about Moab Utah? Moab attracts many tourists annually, mostly visitors to the nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The town is a popular base for mountain bikers who ride the extensive network of trails including the Slickrock Trail, and for off-roaders who come for the annual Moab Jeep Safari. Also the home of the 2nd most scenic highway, Moab is beautiful and known for it’s red rocks. Really cute town, feels safe because it’s surrounded by mountains. Lots of activities and things to do there, lots of friendly people.
Destin, Florida, USA
Destin is a city in northwest Florida, in the area known as the Panhandle. It’s known for its Gulf of Mexico beaches and many golf courses, as well as the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Nature trails pass through the dunes of Henderson Beach State Park in the south, where the coastline is dotted with pine and oak trees sheltering wildlife. To the west are the tall slides, waterfalls and pools of Big Kahuna’s water park. Why is Destin Florida famous? Located on Florida’s Emerald Coast, Destin is known for its white beaches and emerald green waters. Originating as a small fishing village, it is now a popular tourist destination.
