Chamonix, France
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (usually shortened to Chamonix) is a resort area near the junction of France, Switzerland and Italy. At the base of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps, it’s renowned for its skiing. Year-round, cable cars take visitors up to several nearby peaks with panoramic views, including Aiguille du Midi above town, and Pointe Helbronner, across vast glacier fields on the Italian border. For the very best snow conditions and to make the most of the full extent of Chamonix’s mythical skiing, including the Vallée Blanche, it’s best to look at visiting between the middle-end of January and the end of March.
Why so special & why should I visit Chamonix?
Known as the mountain capital of the world, it is a mecca for skiers, snowboarders, climbers and sightseeing visitors from around the world. It attracts over 100,000 visitors in the summer, brought to Chamonix to see and or climb Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain at 4,810m.
Canary Islands, Spain
The Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago off the coast of northwestern Africa, are rugged volcanic isles known for their black- and white-sand beaches. Tenerife, the largest island, is dominated by the sometimes-snowy active volcano Mt. Teide, which has its own astronomical observatory and is part of Teide National Park.
Why so special & why should I visit the Canary Islands?
Sun, sand and sea aside, the Canary Islands are famous for their rugged natural landscapes, historical significance and diverse cultures. Gran Canaria and Tenerife are the largest Canary Islands, but nature-lovers should visit La Palma and observe breathtaking views from the iconic Tilos Bridge.
Morocco
Morocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arabian and European cultural influences. Marrakesh’s medina, a mazelike medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and souks (marketplaces) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The capital Rabat’s Kasbah of the Udayas is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the water.

Morocco remains a major travel destination for its stunning landscapes, rich culture, great weather, and vibrant tourist sector among other reasons.
Morocco doesn’t only have beautiful deserts and lush forests, it also has amazing mountains. The ones near the Todra Gorges are a great location for mountain climbing and beautiful hikes.
